Know before you buy! Texas is cracking down on automotive window tint violations. Make sure your installer follows the law and remember, you don't need overly dark film to keep your vehicle cool inside!

Windshield
A non-reflective tint strip is allowed above the AS-1 line.
Medical exemption
Texas allows a medical exemption for darker tint. Keep a signed physician or optometrist statement in the vehicle.
Color restrictions
Red, amber, and blue tints are not permitted.
Sticker & certification
A compliance sticker is required on the driver-side window, and the film must be state-certified.
